Save the Minimum Wage -- Salvar al Salario Minimo

Wednesday morning, the Arizona Senate's Committee on Commerce and Energy will vote on whether to lower the minimum wage.

We need you to call today to let the committee members know they work for us, NOT for the 1%. We won't sit by quietly while they raid the pocketbooks of Arizona's working families. Stand up for the 99% and tell them to kill the bill!

Call these Senators today!

Al Melvin, Chairman --  602-926-4326

Gail Griffin, Vice-Chair -- 602-926-5895

Michele Reagan -- 602-926-5828

Steve Yarbrough -- 602-926-5863

Robert Meza -- 602-926-3425

Olivia Cajero Bedford -- 602-926-5835

Senator Cajero Bedford was the only phone number where a person actually answered the call. My message was taken as well as my phone number. The staff was gracious and interested in what I had to say.

I was told to go to hell! My response was that I don’t have any plans to move to Arizona either during my lifetime or after my death.

They tried to deport me in spite of the fact that I was born in the USA!

I called the 4 R’s, speaking only to Sen. Griffin’s assistant. Left phone # w/ all and messages w/ the other 3. Used all of the talking points plus pointed out that going against the intent of an intiiative is unconstitutional. thanks for standing w/ us, the 99%.
