2022 BALLOT PROPOSITIONS
Ballot propositions give all of us, as voters, the power to approve or reject proposed laws that affect our lives. This is your chance to shape the future of Arizona – use it!
This year, there are many critically important propositions on the ballot. Below are our recommendations for how to vote:
YES
Proposition 209
​
Proposition 209 protects Arizonans from predatory debt collection. It outlaws sky-high interest rates on medical debt and helps make sure that Arizona families don’t lose their home or car because of medical bills.

Proposition 308
​
Proposition 308 allows all Arizona high school graduates who have lived in the state for at least 2 years to pay their own way through college at the in-state tuition rate. Right now, undocumented students pay approximately 300% more for college than their peers. Proposition 308 is a major step toward equal educational opportunity in Arizona.

Proposition 309
​
Proposition 309 adds new barriers to the vote-by-mail process. It will block voters from having their voices heard, especially Latino, African-American and Asian-American voters, students and younger voters, and low-income voters. In addition, Proposition 309 will infringe on our privacy. Protect your rights by voting NO.

Proposition 128, 129 & 132
Vote no on Propositions 128, 129 and 132 to protect the will of the people! A NO vote on these three propositions keeps the ballot proposition process the way it is now -- in the hands of voters. Voters should be the ones to decide when it comes to ballot propositions, not judges, politicians and big corporations.
