 REGINALD BOLDING

ARIZONA SECRETARY OF STATE

 ABOUT REGINALD BOLDING.

Reginald Bolding learned the value of perseverance from his mother, a single mom who worked two jobs to feed her family. Reginald became a first generation college graduate, a Special Education math teacher, a civic engagement champion, and now he is the House Democratic Leader in Arizona’s House of Representatives.

As founder of Arizona Coalition for Change, the largest Black-led voting rights and community engagement organization in the state, Reginald creates opportunities for young people to engage in politics. The organization registered over 50,000 qualified people to vote.

Reginald builds diverse coalitions to fight for the residents of Arizona. As a legislator, Reginald passed laws improving access to state IDs and records. He fought for better public education, abortion, and workers’ rights. He led the charge against voter suppression legislation and seeks to hold police accountable. Bolding knows firsthand the obstacles faced by families in our communities; he fights for us.
