FIGHTING FOR SOUTHERN ARIZONA’S FUTURE.

JoAnna Mendoza is focused on making life better for Southern Arizona families by tackling rising costs, expanding economic opportunity, strengthening access to healthcare, restoring funding to VA and protecting the communities and resources Arizonans depend on. A retired Marine and mom, she says she will bring mission-focused leadership to Congress and work across party lines to deliver for Southern Arizona.

PRIORITIES THAT PUT SOUTHERN ARIZONA FIRST

From everyday costs to the future we’re building.

BRINGING GOOD-PAYING JOBS TO SOUTHERN ARIZONA
Supporting small businesses, veterans and expanding workforce training, apprenticeships, and technical education while pushing companies investing in Arizona to hire and retain local workers.
LOWERING COSTS FOR WORKING FAMILIES
Cracking down on price gouging, strengthening consumer protections, modernizing the Child Tax Credit, and opposing tariffs that raise costs for Arizona families.
STRENGTHENING ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE
Protecting coverage for people with pre-existing conditions, expanding Medicare prescription drug negotiations, and investing in training more doctors and nurses.
PROTECTING ARIZONA’S WATER AND KEEPING UTILITY COSTS DOWN
Strengthening water infrastructure, protecting groundwater and Arizona’s Colorado River resources, while supporting energy investments intended to keep utility costs down.
KEEP OUR PROMISE TO VETERANS
Fight to restore funding to the VA from reckless DOGE cuts. Will work to expand VA specialty care in rural communities, increase mobile services, fix transportation barriers, improve eligibility and reimbursement rates.
RESTORING TRUST & ACCOUNTABILITY IN GOVERNMENT
Supporting strengthening transparency laws and expanding opportunities for AZ-06 residents to engage directly with their representative.
