Salary Range: : $41,600.00-$47,840.00 per year DOE

Arizona Center for Empowerment (ACE) and Living United for a Change (LUCHA) is a community-led and driven organization committed to raising new leadership in Arizona through confronting the most pressing needs of its often-under- served communities. POSITION DESCRIPTION
This position fulfills the role as Membership Coordinator of ACE. The Membership Coordinator will work as a liaison between our organization and its members. The primary job duties include processing new applications for member services and volunteering information to prospective members. The successful candidate is skilled at anticipating the needs of others and proactively takes on new challenges to support client needs. The Membership Coordinator will be tasked with growing our memberships through marketing campaigns and contacting new community members. The position oversees the department to encourage community members to engage in membership efforts through providing services to the community and partnering with other organizations by providing educational forums and/or classes.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with community-based organizations
including establishing new partnerships with community leaders and organizations -
Grow our membership numbers through marketing campaigns and outreach

Approve or deny new membership applicants
-
Input new member information into our database

Ensures that each project moves forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, making
changes and adjustments, as necessary -
Schedule events and initiate new programs for members

Motivates and monitors the progress of work performed to make sure goals are met.

Plans and participates in internal and external meetings and other types of events to
promote department visibility

Dedication and ability to work flexible hours

Detailed knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Drive applications, familiarity with political data and latest technologies

Spanish/English bilingual required (Speak, Read and Write)

High school diploma or GED

Some college hours preferred

Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, proof of insurance

Must be willing to provide a 39 month MVR from ADOT
